About the concert
On 7 July 1990, musical history was made: Luciano Pavarotti, Plácido Domingo and José Carreras came together on the stage of the Baths of Caracalla in Rome and “The Three Tenors” were born. The concert, one of the most significant musical events of the 20th century, brings together the most celebrated tenor arias and hits in an unforgettable evening. Zubin Mehta conducts the orchestra with the grandeur and precision that this extraordinary spectacle deserves.
