Their forward-looking sound combines West African rhythms with Afrobeat\, reggae\, blues\, jazz\, funk\, and salsa grooves. Music that knows no boundaries\, but celebrates movement\, encounter\, and shared euphoria. At the center is Amidou Koita\, a Burkinabé living in Vienna. His songs open doors to West African tradition and the rich griot culture. He sings in Bwamou and Dioula\, telling stories of family\, community\, and togetherness – narratives carried by rhythm\, warmth\, and a deep sense of connection. Jorossin means the future. And that's exactly what this is about: carrying forward cultural roots\, bringing influences together\, and creating music that breathes tradition while looking ahead. On stage\, an international ensemble from three continents comes together: musicians from Burkina Faso\, Austria\, and Colombia weave their musical languages into a common pulse.
