"Together" is the title of the debut album by Austrian singer-songwriter Anna Maria Schnabl 'ams' [a em es]. The songs on the new album tell various, relatable stories that are closely connected by one thing: a sense of community. If you're wondering whether this is meant politically or if it's just love songs on the album, the answer is: both! From a very personal song for her niece ('de sunn'), via a socially critical look at cruise ships (bonus track 'traumschiff') to a song about nepotism that made it into the top 5 of the FM4 Protest Song Contest ('unta freind'), ams addresses things that matter to her in an authentic and honest way. And mostly with double meanings, wordplay and great groove! Anna Maria Schnabl studied at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, is active in various musical formations, also works as a studio singer, and has already brought her music to numerous stages (including Donauinselfest Vienna; Bühne im Hof St. Pölten, Burgruine Gars, Theater am Spittelberg Vienna, Volkstheater Vienna). ams – native Upper Austrian Anna Maria Schnabl and her band – were already guests at Dorfzentrum Meiseldorf in 2023. The pianist, singer and songwriter touches concert audiences with her honest dialect songs. We look forward to the presentation of her new album and to a wonderful live concert experience.
