The program features classical flamenco styles that reflect life's great themes. The pieces are introduced with pointed commentary – through poems, short anecdotes or German translations – so that both connoisseurs and first-time visitors alike find equal enjoyment. "Facetas Flamencas" showcases flamenco in all its facets – tradition-conscious, vibrant and full of expressive power. In the atmospheric ambiance of the Botanical Garden. ARTISTS ANJANITA – Vocals A specialist in Romance languages, singer and cultural mediator who has performed on stages at home and abroad for many years. She lived in the cradle of flamenco and led tours through the flamenco dance museum in Seville. She studied in Andalusia with masters such as Ezequiel Benítez and Encarna Anillo, and engages with contemporary influences. She combines vocals, context and storytelling – accessible, knowledgeable and audience-oriented. MARTIN MAYR – Guitar Trained at Vienna Music Institute and Anton Bruckner Private University Linz in electric and flamenco guitar. He explores flamenco in theory and practice – in Austria as well as on-site in Andalusia. Influenced by teachers such as Domingo Rubichi and Pepe del Morao, his main interest lies in vocal accompaniment. STEFAN BÄRTHL
