Dieter Kern is known as a precise and versatile drummer in the Austrian bands Bulbul and Fuckhead, and has earned a reputation in the improvised and free jazz scene through collaborations with renowned artists including Satoko Fujii, Linda Sharrock, Saadet Türköz, Marshall Allen, Joe McPhee, Ken Vandermark, and Mayo Thompson.
