Hans Söllner, often announced as the "wild dog of Reichenhall," has stirred emotions for 40 years. His uncompromising stance for self-determined living, including his fight for cannabis legalization, repeatedly brought him to court. Explicit, sometimes vulgar lyrics led to numerous conflicts with politics and the judiciary over freedom of expression and artistic freedom. Early in his career, the musician countered potential persecution by authorities through radical formulations and brutal self-disclosure. Now he has become more contemplative. He had to accept that he cannot change his attackers. This transformation is likely also a matter of age; Hans Söllner turned 70 in 2025 and has learned that his work is a gift – that he is a messenger. "I try to take away people's fear that they might not be good enough for something," Söllner says. "If you listen within yourself, you recognize that life sets its own rules. We're just systematically conditioned to lose this feeling." The concert promises not only musical highlights but also a special atmosphere centered on community and joy.
