Mwita Mataro has already made his mark on Austria's cultural landscape as singer of indie rock band At Pavillon and co-director and main protagonist of the acclaimed documentary "Austroschwarz" (which attracted over 10,000 cinema visitors, making it one of Austria's most successful cinema films in 2025). Now he's also launching his solo project. His first singles in German and dialect have already been picked up by major Austrian radio stations. With support from Stefan Redelsteiner (formerly of Wanda, Nino Aus Wien & currently Voodoo Jürgens, among others) as Mwita's manager, nothing stands in the way of a major career. Mwita is currently working on his debut album "Austrodrama," set to be released in autumn 2026. Together with his band, he now wants to introduce these new songs to a wider audience. His first live concerts have already been a huge success, thanks to Mwita's outstanding band, his entertainer qualities, and his many years of stage experience.
