Phal:Angst "Minor Tremors" Album Release Concert Special Guest: Gebenedeit On September 18, Phal:Angst releases their new sixth studio album "Minor Tremors" via Noise Appeal Records. The Vienna-based band celebrates their 20th anniversary this year, making a statement through their very existence against disposability, short-termism and fleeting attention spans. Instead, they stand for consistency and conviction. The band emerged from Vienna's anarchist DIY punk/hardcore scene around the turn of the millennium and is known for a distinctive fusion of electronic industrial and analog post rock, for building atmospheric moods rather than verse-chorus structures, for density and deceleration, in dark, melancholic, harmonious to romantic tones. The new album follows the same approach. Bass on "Minor Tremors" is handled by RBK from Rolltreppe. Moving forward, Nina Schönwald will be heard on the band's low frequencies.
