As soon as Tägliche frisches Obst (briefly: TFO) take the stage, it means good vibes, atmosphere and – let's be honest – also some unusual show acts. While the crowd dances to Tobi's groove and loudly sings along with the lyrics, they're amazed – for instance when a man in a polar bear costume suddenly storms the stage, or when fingernails are painted and tortellini cooked right in the middle of the set. Young, fresh, humorous – that's how the young indie band made it to second place at the finale of Austria's biggest live music contest (the Planet Festival Tour) in Vienna's Gasometer in 2024. This launchpad enabled the Upper Austrian band to heat up the stages last year as support act for "Please Madame" at Stadtwerkstatt Linz and for "Yasmo & die Klangkantine" at "KiK Ried" and at the legendary "Rockhouse Salzburg". Away from established rulebooks, the five-piece indie band has been creating a unique sound with elements of funk, rock and jazz since their founding in February 2022, challenging the boundaries of the pop genre. After releasing their first five songs, Josef (vocals), Tobi (drums), Vincent (guitar) and the two Jakobs (guitar and bass) released their first EP on 24.04.2025 with the somewhat provocative title "Burger Queen Sex Kola". An EP that stays true to TFO's line: music without rules and categorization, music that's fun, sometimes thought-provoking, but above all invites you to dance.
