About the concert
Drawing from the energy of the dancefloor and the political power of voguing – a protest dance that emerged from Black and Latin American LGBTQI+ communities in response to marginalization – CRUCE explores processes of physical mutation through transgression and traversal. On stage, the four performers break boundaries and liberate themselves from the weight of racist, gender-based, and sexual symbolic structures. Duration: 60 minutes. The performance contains nudity and loud music.
