With deliberately reduced arrangements\, intimate solo sets alternate with shared moments\, creating an open\, accessible space—as if you're sitting with them in a living room\, right in the middle of the music.\n\nThe Zew draws songs directly from cosmic infinity. Through guitar effects and vocals\, she creates a celestial sound rooted in traditional folk and outsider music. She maintains her distinctive visual identity\, performing with painted eyes on her face. Her mini-album "Zazel Wants to Fly" explores themes of flight. Whether a human cannonball\, a falcon's flight\, or an abrupt leap into the unknown\, the new songs weave narratives of independence\, the thrill of losing control\, mutual understanding\, and the resilience found in togetherness.\n\nMAIIJA is the project of Austrian musician and composer Marilies Jagsch\, whose voice has shaped Vienna's music scene for over 15 years. After two early solo albums\, she opened a new chapter in 2023: Under the name MAIIJA\, she creates with producer Peter Paul Aufreiter (Hearts Hearts) songs that weave experimental pop\, intimate songwriting\, and electronic textures into a unique sonic world.
