Community building and music-making — this has been the motto of the Federal Railway Band Linz since 1898. The approximately 40 musicians of the Federal Railway Band Linz stylishly frame events and celebrations of all kinds at home and abroad in k.u.k. state railway uniforms or ÖBB service uniforms with contemporary brass music, classical music, opera, operetta, musical, film and theater music, big band sound and sophisticated dance music, as well as pop songs, oldies and Oberkrainer sound. Youth work holds a special place at the Federal Railway Band.
