About the concert
The Atalante Quartet and Ukrainian bandoneon player Andrej Serkov venture into the tango universe of Astor Piazzolla. Original works by the Argentine master are performed alongside pieces specially arranged for this ensemble, all centered around the bandoneon – Piazzolla's favorite instrument. A tango experience without dance, but true to the composer's spirit: "For me, tango was always more for the ear than for the feet."
