About the concert
William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is one of the best-known works of world literature. In original instrumental arrangements – a chamber music version of Tchaikovsky's symphonic poem Romeo and Juliet, a suite from Prokofiev's ballet music of the same name, and a suite from Bernstein's musical West Side Story – CrossNova juxtaposes three masterpieces of music history and brings this timeless, ever-relevant story to the stage.
