AU SALON invites listeners to reflect through their lyrics rather than escape into living room comfort. They take you on a musically often melancholic-dark, yet sometimes exuberant journey into burning forests, past old spirits, all with withered lilac in tow. Previously performing only as a duo, AU SALON will be heard for the first time in a larger lineup on September 5, 2026, featuring Franziska Kleinschmidt on bass and Klaus Zeiner on drums. Storm Lily aka Laura Steiner is an Austrian-Australian singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, producer, and photographer whose work flows seamlessly between sound, texture, and image. She loves distorting and twisting things stylistically, creating music that moves between genres. She weaves together grunge, psychedelic folk, and experimental soundscapes. Guided by curiosity and a deep sensitivity for sound, Laura creates moments where the analog meets the digital and the personal meets the elemental.
