Austin TV is one of the most important rock bands in Latin America. Although they are an instrumental band, they have a lot to say. With masks that correspond to each album's concept, they bring their motto to life: "Your face doesn't matter–you do!" After a 10-year hiatus, they returned in 2022 with new music and a powerful comeback on stage. Their message has resonated with multiple generations. They have played over 1,200 shows, released five albums, and in their 21-year history, carried the banner of independence to new horizons. Their iconic concept album "Fontana Bella" was produced by Emmanuelle del Real (keyboardist and composer of Café Tacuba) and released in 2007 during their performance at the Vive Latino Festival. Their comeback show sold out at Foro Indie Rocks in just three minutes. Rolling Stone Mexico named their new album one of the most anticipated albums of 2023. 40,000 people witnessed Austin TV's return when they headlined Vive Latino 2023–Latin America's premier festival. They also released a live session for cult radio station KEXP, which garnered over 500,000 listens within a month.
