About the concert
Every third Thursday of the month. Frank Folgmann & The Backingcrew present their program "It's all about love" featuring Martin "Smooth" Obereder on vocals and saxophone. Martin has made a name for himself in the domestic jazz scene with his soft saxophone playing combined with his gentle, "smooth" tenor/baritone voice. "Blues & Beyond" is an open stage for handmade music between blues and jazz, with plenty of room for soul, funk, pop and rock influences. Café Viele Leute provides the perfect setting with its atmospheric ambiance: small, charming, personal – a place where musicians and audience meet on equal footing. It creates a soundscape reminiscent of classic jazz cellars while conveying an urban living room feel.
