What if we experienced the world with a sense of immediate belonging to objects? How would our perception of things and each other change? Would such a "shift" influence our social reality; the way we experience closeness and distance? Starting from the question of how we experience the world in the here and now, in the moment, the performers in THE SOUL OF THINGS examine everyday objects as extensions of the body. Conversely, these objects begin to "use" the performers by altering their behavior, physicality, and interaction patterns. This creates a dynamic dialogue between humans and the surrounding world of things, in which the expected functions of body and objects shift, enabling new ways of perceiving and new forms of relationships.
