Crust Punk concert featuring the Brazilian band Escöria. Founded in early 1996 in the southernmost region of Brazilian-controlled territory, Escöria is characterized by their D-beat and crust punk sound. The band consists of Martins (drums and vocals), Lídia Campos (bass and vocals), and Marcelo Domingues (guitar and vocals), and is dedicated to creating fast-paced music that denounces and challenges capitalist, state, and religious practices of power, domination, and oppression—with feminist, ecological, and libertarian lyrics. Throughout their continuous career with tours across Brazil, Latin America, and Europe, the band has built a discography comprising multiple compilations, various split albums, one single, and eight full-length albums.
