Felix Kramer, born in Vienna in 1994. You can certainly sense that the classically trained guitarist Kramer has gone through the conventional songwriter school, that he has also studied composition and thus knows precisely what he's doing – yet he translates these insights in an extraordinarily original and individual way. Kramer has left behind overly obvious choruses; he combines folk guitars with drum machines and influences from artists like Mac Miller, mixing spoken word with sung passages. Kramer is a precise observer who doesn't exclude himself from the equation, recognizing and exposing life's lies – including his own. Time and again, he seeks out beauty in darkness, no matter how hidden it is. He doesn't negate dark sides or tensions, but pulls them directly into the heart of his songs, though without burdening them further. Kramer's Viennese wit lends these songs a lightness that suits them perfectly. Supported by Kulturland Niederösterreich, SKE austro mechana, and the municipality of Drosendorf-Zissersdorf. We produce climate-responsibly! We're delighted if you can join us by carpooling or electric vehicle, by bike, or on foot, depending on your possibilities.
