Fex, born in 2000 in Upper Austria, grew up surrounded by mopeds, poor grass, and a barn disco somewhere near Linz. Music was his constant companion – quietly in the background, but always directional. It drew him early to the city, to the quirky parties and exciting figures of the local cultural scene. During the lockdowns he matured, taught himself guitar, and founded the culture magazine MUPAK in the middle of his civilian service. The desire for self-realization grew louder – so in 2022 he moved to Vienna with his closest friends to study. There, in his beloved shared apartment living room, he finally began transforming his thoughts and feelings into his own songs. What has emerged from this is best experienced live.
