Trumpeter Freddy Staudigl and soloists from Ensemble Neue Streicher perform in the magnificent Johannesberg Church Harmannstein near Großschönau. This crossover program features "hits" from four centuries in special arrangements, including music by Antonio Vivaldi, Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, Johann Strauß, Scott Joplin, George Gershwin, and Falco. Freddy Staudigl studied at the Vienna University of Music and Boston University. He is a founding member of Brassissimo Vienna and has performed in Bangkok, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Abu Dhabi, Seoul, Tokyo, Taipei, and Istanbul. As a trumpeter, he has collaborated with the Vienna Salonists, the Ziehrer Orchestra, the Brno Philharmonic, and the Vienna Boys' Choir. Performances at St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, at the Life Ball in Vienna, at the Requiem for Niki Lauda, and concerts with brass bands in Germany, Spain, Japan, Algeria, Tunisia, Finland, and Switzerland establish him as a sought-after international artist.
