About the concert
Algiers, 1938. Meursault, a quiet, inconspicuous office worker in his early thirties, attends his mother's funeral without visible emotion. The next day, he begins an affair with his former colleague Marie and returns to his ordinary routine. However, this is soon disrupted by his neighbor Raymond, who draws Meursault into his shady dealings... Told in captivating black-and-white images and carried by a distinguished ensemble including Benjamin Voisin, Rebecca Marder, and Pierre Lottin. With his masterful reinterpretation of Albert Camus' literary classic of the same name, François Ozon creates a virtuoso work of timeless relevance.
