About the concert
He is a brilliant guitar virtuoso with a passion for different styles, centuries and regions. The guitar poet has packed no fewer than five instruments for his new solo program: classical guitar, Dobro, ukulele, Fender Stratocaster, jazz archtop – and not least his voice. Mario Berger effortlessly combines Renaissance, Baroque, Salsa, Blues, Flamenco, Hawaiian grooves and the sound of Santana right through to the raw rock riffs of Jimi Hendrix.
