Give Peace a Chance ... a shared monument for peace and freedom! What could a monument for peace and freedom look like today? And what happens when many children build it together? In this one-week summer workshop, we create a large monument together made of things, colors, imagination, wishes, crazy ideas and poetry. But this monument is different from monuments in the city: it is a space that we occupy and shape. It spreads and grows, it appears and is full of surprises. We draw inspiration from modern artists who dared to turn things upside down. Through art and creativity, we create spaces to live, think and argue together. Suitable age: 7–14 years Instructors: Cécile Belmont (artist), Klaus Scheuringer (artist) Please bring: Water-resistant clothing that can get dirty, water bottle, sun protection
