Marc Günther Müller (born 1993 in Düsseldorf) lives and works in Vienna and has been studying painting since 2024 in Anne Speier's class at the University of Art and Design Linz. The exhibition Key Handover explores the theme of work as a physical entity, as an activity to be performed, and as a place or means of acquiring physical aesthetics. The working process always takes centre stage, serving as both starting point and goal, as well as the path to artistic work itself. Marc Günther Müller's artistic practice generally oscillates between painting and installation, as well as concepts of the readymade and objets trouvés. In the exhibition Key Handover, five objects are presented as a spatial installation through which the artist engages, partly autobiographically, with generational change in craft enterprises and industry. The title also forms a bridge between the artists who preceded him and those who follow, who will present work at the info point of the University of Art and Design Linz.
