»Überraschende Vielfalt« - Slowenische Illustration von Kinder- und Jugendbüchern Ausstellungseröffnung
The advisory board of the Book Agency of the Republic of Slovenia (JAK), the Slovenian Cultural Information Centre SKICA Vienna, and the Centre for Illustration Slovenia (Center Ilustracije) present an exhibition featuring 11 award-winning Slovenian illustrators working in children's and young adult literature. It offers an insight into visual worlds and diverse artistic approaches characteristic of the contemporary Slovenian illustration scene. The surprising variety of Slovenian illustration tells stories beyond language barriers and connects readers from different cultures through visual poetry. Through its broad palette of different styles, techniques, and perspectives, the exhibition demonstrates the power of illustration.
