Three researchers go about their daily work when a mysterious call from the Ministry of Security interrupts them. GNATS, an unknown entity, is causing chaos in the country and must be found and investigated. A research journey begins, but it quickly becomes clear that there is more than one answer to the question "What is GNATS?"
