The Filmzuckerl association, together with the City of Waidhofen and as part of Lower Austria's summer cinema initiative, presents the 16th Schlosshof Cinema this year, showcasing extraordinary films and special cinematic experiences from around the world across four Tuesday evenings in August. On Tuesday, August 18, the poignant and humorous festival hit "DJ Ahmet" takes the stage. This coming-of-age tragicomedy by Macedonian director Georg M. Unkovski received double recognition at the prestigious Sundance Film Festival – winning both the Audience Award and the Special Jury Award for Creative Vision – and ranks among this year's major festival discoveries.
