With the eris Gallery, a new space for art, encounter and conversation is emerging in Linz. For the opening, Iris & Erik Diewald-Hagen cordially invite you to the first Open Gallery evening. The focus is on the exhibition BEING – a photographic art project about visibility, diversity and humanity. Twelve queer people share their personal stories through portraits, words and music. All works were created using a wooden camera over 160 years old with historic collodion wet plate technique on glass. Each image is a handcrafted unique piece. During the evening, you have the opportunity to view the exhibition at leisure, speak with the artists and learn more about the extraordinary creation of the works. The eris Gallery sees itself as a temporary space for socially relevant art and will offer guided tours, workshops, lectures and school projects in the future. Free admission.
