Rotkäppchen am Turm

Interactive theatre experience for children and adults at Turm 20 in the heart of nature. Red Riding Hood at the Tower is an interactive theatrical experience for children and adults in which the audience becomes part of the story itself. Equipped with headphones, visitors venture into the nature surrounding Turm 20 at Pöstlingberg in Linz – a historic location high above the city where forest, landscape and history transform into an extraordinary open-air theatre space. What makes this theatre experience special: the audience is divided into three groups. Each group is guided by one of the characters – Red Riding Hood, the Wolf, or the Grandmother – along their own path through the forest. Each character tells the story from their own personal perspective. This creates the fairy tale simultaneously in three versions that only meet at the end. Then everyone must together determine what really happened – or whether there is more than one truth. Along the way, visitors actively, playfully and creatively shape the action. They take on creative and movement-based tasks, dance, paint, tell stories, search and discover – becoming fellow performers in the production. In between, there's fresh fruit to enjoy. The event is based on a theatre production by the renowned Teatar Poco Loco (Croatia) and takes place in cooperation with the RedSapata cultural initiative and Turm 20.
