In January 2003, a handful of musicians happened to take vacation on La Gomera, the island of eternal spring, at the same time. As fate would have it, they met on the beach and it was love at first sight. After over 20 years of wild marriage, that handful grew into a wild bunch of more than 20 musicians. Their repertoire includes cover versions of pop and rock songs from the past 7 decades, as well as Roma songs, swing classics, and original compositions. Over the years, GOMERA STREETBAND has earned a reputation as an energetic live act, repeatedly surprising audiences with extraordinary interpretations, captivating and witty performances, and a broad palette of musical styles.
