Harri Stojka presents ACOUSTIC DRIVE, the project currently at the center of his artistic work – a formation where virtuoso joy of playing, deep stylistic roots, and open improvisation meet at the highest level. Building on one of Stojka's defining influences, Django Reinhardt, ACOUSTIC DRIVE develops its own musical language. The guitarist describes the approach as "modern jazz solism with acoustic gypsy sound" – but in the live context far more than a stylistic label. The band uses Reinhardt's musical legacy as a starting point for dynamic interaction, spontaneous turns, and intense musical dialogues. Alongside newly interpreted material, Harri Stojka's own compositions naturally flow into the program. The drive is not a promise but an attitude: rhythmically precise, energetically charged, and with that immediacy that characterizes jazz in a club context.
