Exhibition featuring works by Ilona Ágnes Tömó and Josef Trattner. The exhibition FLOODED links two artistic positions whose shared point of reference is the exhibition space of MAERZ. The installations by Tömó and Trattner are literally space-encompassing: characteristics of the space such as volume, proportion, pathway, and light are incorporated and placed in dynamic relationships with the displayed works. The resulting effects range from harmonious unity to confrontational moments. The works partially interpenetrate, transforming the entire MAERZ into a space of flowing, flooding artistic activity.
