About the festival
The MONOLOGFESTIVAL invites you from July 8-12, 2026 to extraordinary venues in Linz city center, bringing theater, music, readings and performances directly to audiences. At the festival hub HP23 on Hauptplatz and at numerous other locations, visitors can expect a diverse program featuring monologues, song evenings, karaoke shows, children's events and musical formats. Ensemble members of Landestheater Linz explore themes such as football, family, politics, longing, literature and social issues — with humor, poetry and great audience connection.
