BAL-CONCERT 18:30 Dance Crash Course 19:30 Concert Start Hotel Palindrone's Bal Concert, now a beloved fixture in Sargfabrik's program, returns for another round – inviting you to dance, listen, and immerse yourself. It kicks off with a dance course featuring live music for circle, line, and partner dances. A dance instructor will charmingly guide you past any initial hurdles. Following that comes the tried-and-tested Bal-Concert with dance music spanning centuries and diverse European cultures. Dancing is explicitly encouraged and heartily welcome, though it's equally lovely to simply drift along and enjoy this extraordinary band's musical diversity – from yodeling to beatboxing, from vintage country songs to jazzy saxophone solos, traditional melodies, and original compositions. What makes this evening special: Hotel Palindrone is currently preparing their new album. Perhaps some pieces will take the stage for the very first time tonight and celebrate their world premiere. Either way: cultural and other boundaries are boldly disregarded. World music in the best sense – rousing, full of life, and intelligent. Albin Paulus – clarinet, jaw harp, bagpipes (chanter, uilleann pipes), flutes, bombarde, vocals & yodeling; Stephan Steiner – violin, hurdy-gurdy, diatonic accordion, nyckelharpa, vocals; Andreas Neumeister – guitar, vocals; Peter Natterer – bass, saxophone, piano. The concert hall is half-seated, providing ample space for both listeners and our dancing Bal Folk guests! https://hotelpalindrone.at/start/
