With their traditional New Year's concert, Großmütterchen Hatz once again opens the new year with danceable rhythms, exuberant playfulness, and musical journeys through Eastern and Southeastern Europe. For many years, the band has invited special guests to expand their distinctive sound world between tradition, improvisation, and contemporary interpretation. This year's guest musician is Jasna Sandic. The singer and performer combines Balkan musical traditions with her current home Austria, bringing songs full of longing, joie de vivre, and narrative power to the stage. Together, they create an evening that playfully transcends borders and makes music an experience of shared language.
