The Vienna ensemble The Starbugs blends country, Americana, blues and rock'n'roll into a distinctive, warm and energetic sound between intimacy and musical breadth. With two-part vocals, striking guitars and characteristic saxophone lines, the band spans their own compositions and carefully selected classics from the Americana tradition. For this special evening, high-caliber guests expand the sonic palette: Ulli Winter (The Untouchables) on guitar, Claudia Fenzl (a formative voice of the Vienna Americana scene) on violin, and Thomas Haschberger (Krautfleisch, MCB) on accordion add additional colorful accents.
