With "moloch," woschdog – described by Falter as a "widely unknown but brilliant band" – have set out to trace all patriarchal-hegemonic delusions following their debut album "foin." The whole thing is packaged in an exciting mix of downtempo, jazz, electronics, blues and pop. Ingrid Lang's poetic approach to the Viennese dialect and her eerie-beautiful vocals combine with the multifaceted sound of Lukas Lauermann's cello, Karl Stirner's liberated zither, Sebastian Seidl's warm Rhodes and synth textures, and Johannes Wakolbinger's refined, precise drums to create an atmospheric listening experience. Since their debut album "foin," woschdog has slowly, multilayered and uncompromisingly carved out entirely their own sonic spaces within the Austrian music landscape. "Portishead visiting the suburbs." (Falter) Ingrid Lang - vocals, Lukas Lauermann - cello, Karl Stirner - zither, Sebastian Seidl - keys, Johannes Wakolbinger - drums
