About the exhibition
For more than 500 million years, plants have shaped life on Earth. As so-called "light eaters," they convert light, water, and air into biomass, creating the foundation for virtually all life. The current exhibition at the Botanical Garden explores the evolutionary history of plants and invites visitors to rediscover them—as a story of change, adaptation, and survival. Living plants and fossils, along with eight information panels, illustrate how plant life has unfolded from its origins in prehistoric times to the present day. Saturday, May 9 – Sunday, October 4. Admission: Botanical Garden entry fee only.
