About the exhibition
Linz Castle Museum provides comprehensive insights into the natural, cultural, and art history of Upper Austria over more than 10,000 m² of exhibition space, spanning from the origins of life to the 21st century. The permanent exhibitions, housed in the historic castle as well as in the new south wing, cover a wide range of topics. They extend from geological history to contemporary history and showcase extensive and diverse specialized fields. The permanent exhibitions are complemented by varied special exhibitions on current international and regional themes, as well as cultural, natural, and contemporary history topics.
