About the exhibition
Giving Image Space. The Castle Museum honors the late work and continued artistic output of Austrian sculptor and installation artist Sepp Auer. His conceptual and minimalist works originate from the image and unfold sculpturally in space into multi-layered installations. Equipped with text and writing, supports or barriers, they question viewing habits, disrupt perception patterns, comment on the present, and break free from convention with Auer's characteristic poetic humor.
